AN INDEPENDENT TIME TRIAL CHALLENGE PRESENTED & HOSTED BY
We invite you to plan and execute a time-trial as far north (by latitude) as you can within 24 hours starting from the Restrap factory in Leeds. Balance marginal gains, comfort over distance, route-planning and minimal stop time to push yourself as far as possible within the timeframe.
THIS CHALLENGE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, COSTS NOTHING TO ENTER AND THE RULES ARE SIMPLE.
• This challenge is self supported, any aid and resources utilised during the ride must be accessible to the general public or carried by the rider from the outset. Private shelter, stashed gear, resupplies or mechanical support are not permitted.
• This is an efficiency over distance game. The aim is to reach as far north by latitude as possible, this can be on/off road as long as it follows public rights of access. No hedge jumping into private land or riding on footpaths.
• The time limit is 24 hours and the clock never stops, even when you do. Your submitted activity shouldn’t go beyond this time, if it does, the result coordinates will reflect this.
• Finally, do not put yourself in danger. This is a bit of fun and no one needs to get hurt over it. Sleep deprivation affects everyone differently and this must be managed with caution and common sense, if you need to, get some rest.
• If you’d like to do this in a group, feel free. We will open another results table for multiple participant efforts.
